🚿 Return & Refund Policy – MzansiNest

1. Overview

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases of showerheads (“Products”) from MzansiNest. This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”).

Nothing in this policy limits or replaces any rights you may have under the CPA.


2. Defective Products (CPA Sections 55 & 56)

All Products sold by MzansiNest include an automatic 6-month warranty of quality as required by South African law.

If a Product is:

  • defective,

  • unsafe,

  • not durable, or

  • not suitable for its intended purpose,

you may return it within 6 months of delivery.

You are entitled to choose:

  • a repair,

  • a replacement, or

  • a full refund.

MzansiNest will:

  • cover return shipping costs for valid defective claims, and

  • process refunds within 7–10 business days after inspection and approval.

We reserve the right to inspect and verify the defect before approving any claim.


3. Repeat Failures

If a Product is repaired or replaced and fails again within 3 months, MzansiNest reserves the right to:

  • replace the Product, or

  • issue a refund.


4. Incorrect, Missing, or Damaged Orders

If you receive:

  • an incorrect Product,

  • missing items, or

  • a Product damaged in transit,

you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

MzansiNest will:

  • arrange collection at our cost, and

  • provide a replacement or refund where applicable.

Failure to report within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined.


5. Change of Mind Returns (Discretionary)

MzansiNest is not legally required to accept returns where you change your mind. However, we may allow such returns at our sole discretion under the following conditions:

  • Request submitted within 7 days of delivery

  • Product is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging

  • All parts, accessories, and manuals are included

In these cases:

  • Return shipping is at the customer’s cost

  • A handling/restocking fee may apply

  • Original delivery fees are non-refundable

Refunds may be issued as:

  • store credit, or

  • refund minus applicable costs


6. Non-Returnable Products

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Products that have been installed or used (for hygiene reasons)

  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or negligence

  • Products that have been modified or altered

  • Products returned without original packaging or components


7. Installation & Usage Disclaimer

MzansiNest is not responsible for:

  • incorrect installation,

  • plumbing faults, or

  • damage caused by improper use or fitting.

Customers are responsible for ensuring correct installation. Professional installation is recommended.


8. Cooling-Off Period (Direct Marketing Only)

If your purchase was made through direct marketing (e.g., unsolicited calls, SMS, or door-to-door sales):

  • You may cancel within 5 business days of delivery

  • A full refund will be issued

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility


9. Proof of Purchase

All returns must include valid proof of purchase (order number or invoice).
MzansiNest reserves the right to decline returns without sufficient proof.


10. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed:

  • via the original payment method, or

  • as store credit where applicable

Processing time: 7–10 business days after approval.


11. Abuse Prevention

To protect against misuse of this policy, MzansiNest reserves the right to:

  • reject returns that do not meet the above conditions

  • refuse items showing signs of installation, wear, or excessive handling

  • limit or decline returns from customers who abuse the returns process
